About Me
Hi, I’m Ben — a Certified Massage Therapist (CMT #92420) and Licensed Esthetician (LE #Z159546). I completed a comprehensive massage therapy program that covered a wide range of modalities, anatomy, kinesiology, and the body’s systems. After graduating, I earned certification in Lomi Lomi massage and later pursued my esthetician license, where I gained in-depth knowledge of skin care, facial massage, and common skin conditions.
I truly enjoy offering the services I’ve trained in — and I’m always learning more. I became a certified personal trainer then graduated from an advanced massage program focused on neurological and muscular massage for pain management and injury recovery. Currently, I am enrolled in a nutrition consulting course to expand my ability to support clients’ wellness through both bodywork and dietary guidance.
My Journey
Before massage therapy, my path was quite different. I grew up working in construction and playing baseball. After high school, I joined the military and taught survival skills. It was during that time that the idea of massage therapy first sparked — perhaps an unconscious connection between survival training and holistic healing. I didn’t pursue it then, but the seed was planted.
After the military, I returned to construction and became a regular at the gym. To relieve the physical strain from both, I started getting massages. I discovered that gentle, consistent bodywork could be just as effective — if not more — than deep, forceful pressure. That experience reignited my interest in massage, and this time, I followed through.
While in massage school, I began making my own body butters to use during sessions. One of my instructors suggested I explore esthetics, and after watching some facial massage videos, I was hooked. I loved learning about skincare ingredients and techniques, and I especially enjoy giving facials that leave clients smiling — even before they see the results in the mirror. I believe facial massage and skincare products work best when used together.
Availability
Because I’m currently enrolled in a nutrition consulting course, my weekday availability is limited to afternoons. I understand that some clients may prefer morning appointments, so I’m actively looking to bring on a team member to help offer services during those hours.
